Boston
We’re Bushless in Boston. Just heard the New Al Gore give his speech to the Convention and –much as expected-- there was a nary a mention of President You-Know-Who. With speakers having to run podium copy by the convention producers and party apparatchik, the discipline coming from the dais is what the Marxist-Leninists used to call “iron-clad.”
Read this entire posting at my L.A. Weekly Convention Blog.

Watched Carter; listened to Owlgore; listened to Clinton. Clinton wins, hands down. He is the best communicator in politics since Reagan, and like the Democrats said about Reagan, you just can't believe anything he says.
I remember the democrats raising hell about photo's of Bush at ground zero and complaints about this from the media, the leftish and liberal pundits etc. THEN, I watched THE EXACT SAME SHAMELESS use of the 9/11 tragedy with survivors parents speaking, a violin rendition of Amazing Grace with candles waving in the "wind" no less. Shameless. If the Repubs do the same, I'll have to vote for Marc, or Hannity, or, God forbid, Nader....

ROFL... thanks for the endorsement! But I'd never pass the FBI background check!

Marc, that's the beauty of getting elected President, it doesn't matter whether you pass the "FBI" background check or not, you are constitutionally STILL the president.
But, you would make a hellova better president than Kerry would... (specially if you grow the beard back.) ;-)
